A crown made in Canons Ashby by Louis Osman, England's finest goldsmith of the 20th C. was for Prince Charles' investiture as Prince of Wales. Apparently Louis Osman was delayed in delivering it, and it had to be rushed to Carnarvon with a military escort and his great danes guarding it. It arrived only just in time... 18th Century gardens, Medieval church and parkland, award-winning tea room and tea garden all open at 10:30.
