Northamptonshire Heritage Week a historic success

Northamptonshire Heritage Week 2015 ran from 7-11 September, culminating in a Heritage in the Economy conference at Boughton House with many of the sectors’ foremost leading lights in the UK taking part.

The clear success of the week was in no small part due to the enthusiastic support of the participating historic houses, a number of which delivered bespoke Heritage Week tours and activities, attracting many visitors from across Northamptonshire and beyond.

We are now looking to take forward the development of a strategic plan for the heritage sector in Northamptonshire and to ensure the future sustainability of the county’s past.
